David Schedro to deliver an 'invited guest' report on the Forest Forum'08

David A.Shedro, PIC Consulting Company Senior Technologist, is going to deliver a speech on October 8, 2008 at the X International Forest Forum in St.Petersburg.

The conference named ‘Chip Board Production’ contains a section devoted to “Advanced technologies of chip board production: aspects of improving ecological safety and raising the quality of production”. The topic of the speech is Modern Technologies and Chip Board Production Equipment.

Today, the Forum is the only federal-level event in the sector uniting the representatives of forest management and forestry complex from 59 regions of Russia and 19 countries in the world. Forum organizers are, among others, the Authorised Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-West federal district and the Federal Agency of Forest management of the RF.

Recently, the state has been paying very close attention to the development of domestic forestry complex. The Council on Forestry Complex Development under the supervision of the Government of the Russian Federation has been set up to encourage the transition of the domestic forestry complex from raw-material-based development model to the innovative one.

Following its tradition, the International Forest Forum 2008 will present the most relevant topics of the discussion within the frame of congress, conference and business programmes.
