In the beginning of 2006, “Development concept of timber-processing industry in the Irkutsk region up to 2015” was offered for airing. The given document have stated the main directions for development of the Angara region’s timber industry for the next years and have detected general problems of the Irkutsk region sating also the ways of their resolution. The airing of the Concept became the central event of the exhibition “Siberia forest utilization. Woodworking”.
